Integrity
Tell the truth about the work, the challenge, and the promise.
About
A life in story, shaped by the rehearsal room, the film set, the classroom, and the mountains of Western Colorado.
I am a filmmaker, director, producer, and educator whose work moves between stage and screen. Across those forms, the central questions remain the same: What is true here? What does the story require? How can the people making it do their best work?
Replace this paragraph with your personal origin story. Describe the moment or season when storytelling became more than an interest, and how theatre, film, and teaching became connected parts of your practice.
My approach is grounded in integrity, empathy, and excellence. I value preparation without rigidity, ambition without ego, and leadership that makes room for both candor and generosity.
Today, I lead Northrup Studios while continuing to direct, teach, speak, and collaborate selectively with people building meaningful work.
What guides me
Tell the truth about the work, the challenge, and the promise.
Make people feel seen, respected, and capable of brave creative choices.
Pursue craft as a shared discipline, not a performance of perfection.
